I was born in in a small town in Massachusetts surrounded by art and music. My father, a guitarist and singer, and my grandfather was a high school art teacher who lived next door to me. My grandfather taught me many things about art but above all things he taught me about patience and kindness.

As children, my brother and I were often encouraged by our parents to use our imaginations. My parents always supported my creativity.

After high school, I received a bachelors in science in early childhood education at Westfield State University. I taught preschool in a variety of different settings and locations across Massachusetts and also in Anchorage Alaska.

Now I live near the lake in Vermont with my two sweet sons and amazing husband. I am studying speech pathology and writing and illustrating children’s books.
